Dear friends!

Prov.18:16
16 A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.

God’s word is so true! The Word talks about a gift; it is not a bribe, but an asset or talent which opens the way. It is so true, we have experienced just that in our lives, is not in our ambitions, it is not in the natural we open doors, but the gift that God has given us as a family, and me as an individual, has opened doors for me and my family, surely it has brought us before great men!

When I wrote my last letter in May, I thought that it was my last letter for the summer, but God knew I was wrong. Shortly after I wrote the last letter I received a call from a Pastor in Stavanger, about 8 hrs. from where I live. I did not know the Pastor, and he did not know me. He wanted me to come and help him translate a Pastor from Argentina, Alejandro Rodriguez who is the head of YWAM in Argentina. Pastor Rodriguez has a powerful ministry in Buenos Aires where he has made a national impact, not only in the church but also in the government. In fact his offices are right across the street from the president’s house, and the Argentinean Parliament. He is truly a great man of God, and God is using him in a mighty way, I was so moved by his message about how God wants to transform a country, and the culture of a country through the Word of God. We made knew friends in Stavanger, and I am invited back to preach in Christ Church in Sola, I will bring my entire family.

I just got back from a trip to Chile, my father has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, and I needed to go for practical matters, also because my father needed me there. I just went to be with him, and I had no plans what so ever to minister or visit a church. I just wanted to be with “dad”. My mother assists to the Methodist Pentecostal Church, who is the main Pentecostal church in Chile. She really wanted me to come with her to church, she really insisted so I went with her. When the Pastor met me he said immediately “I want you to share the Word tonight…” and of course he wanted me to preach the evening service, I accepted. The place was full to its capacity, God moved so powerful, and people where deeply touched by God. I preached from Romans 8:31-37. Freedom from Fear, so many people testified how God has touched them in a special way. I believed many were healed and delivered during that night.

None of these things were prepared. God just opened the doors, from places and people that I did not expect. Maybe you are a minister, or you do ministry in your church, let the gift that God imparted in your life, work in you, so that it may open doors for you. So many ministers are frustrated; God has given you a gift! Use it! It will open doors for you and bring you before great men!
